There are a variety of causes of mood swings which Hanna Kroeger Healer will briefly discuss here. It is important to note that mood swings can be considered an extreme of frustration, irritability, and melancholy as well.
In fact some people have mood swings with elation, and depression. At some point, the polarization may be so great that someone may get an diagnosis of bipolar disorder (manic-depressive disorder). However, even this can be healed with consistent focus and Natural Healing.
The number one cause of mood swings will be explained with a reference to Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the human body there exists, meridians: invisible energetic pathways underneath the skin to the internal organs, whereby qi (pronounced chi) is cultivated and stored in the human body. These meridian energy pathways and their balancing are the domain of the acupuncturist, acupressurist, shiatsu therapist, etc.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the liver is responsible for the smooth flow of chi and a smooth emotional life.
The Liver is responsible for the smooth flow of Qi (the invisible life essence, or energy that flows throughout the body in the meridians). The smooth flow of Liver-Qi rather than stagnation ensures you have a smooth emotional life.
Everyone has probably experienced stagnation at some point in their home, such as for example, their toilet clogging up, and overflowing, or at an extreme the pipes in the home or leading to the house bursting. Stagnation can also be visualized like a river being dammed up with a whole lot of dead trees and debris.
Stagnation is the term used in Chinese Medicine for congestion in the meridians. Stagnation and congestion are therefore the same thing. Note that one of the 7 Physical Causes of Ill Health is Congestion.
Usually the meridian congestion feels like a little bit to a lot of pain underneath the surface of the skin at a very localized point. For example, people with stagnation in the spleen meridian may feel pain along the inside of the legs, up above the ankles, where the spleen meridian comes down to the ankles and some of its meridian points are located. Also when an acupuncturist inserts a needle into a point and there is pain, this usually indicates that there is a good amount of qi stagnation there. Current medical diagnosis of fibromyalgia may indicate pain localized to some meridian points along several organ pathways.
People who have Liver-Qi stagnation either acutely or chronically can become irritable, prone to arguing, having their way, frustration, emotional ups and downs, anger, fits of rage, and so on.
You can visualize that if a person has ups and downs in mood, their liver-Qi swings like a roller-coaster ride.
People who have chronic, stagnant liver-Qi have weak livers and get easily frustrated, and can also be easily constipated.
People who are also chronically constipated or do not evacuate enough also have a tendency to have liver-Qi stagnation. It's a circular process which can cause health difficulties.
People with Liver-Qi Stagnation will also often have a diagnosis of multiple-chemical sensitivity. The manifestation of multiple chemical sensitivity usually started long ago, years before the diagnosis. Perhaps there was a sensitivity to cigarette smoke, or a whole body irritability to mall smells. Because of the many new products and the off gassing of chemicals in malls, there is usually a lot of possibility for irritating or exacerbating the liver-qi.
If you believe you have liver-qi stagnation, you may have to avoid all kinds of chemical exposure, including household chemicals used to wash floors, and bathroom cleaners. A healthy liver is vitally important to your health and life.
A healthy thyroid means that every cell in your body including your liver is working properly. So, when your thyroid is not functioning properly, especially when it's hypothyroid, means the liver does not function as well - its underfunctioning. An underfunctioning liver is not able to detoxify the many chemicals and heavy metals it encounters in everyday life. All this stemming from an underactive thyroid means that the liver can become chronically underactive and damage by chemicals and metals.
In reality there are usually chemicals, and heavy metals that cause the thyroid to underfunction, or to cause every cell in your body to underactive, thus possibly leading to body wise disease such as Yeast Overgrowth Syndrome or Candida Related Complex, heavy-metal poisoning, multiple-chemical sensitivity.
As well as prudence avoidance of chemicals, including household air sprays and household air fresheners, there are a variety of energetic supplements that can be used heal the glands and organs, in particular the support the liver and gallbladder.
Support for the liver during detoxification is exactly determined by a vibrational reading. Hanna Kroeger Healer specializes in vibrational readings.
Due to the internal-wiring that has often occurred during liver-congestion, and other under-functioning glands, a specialized reading which allows for gradual detoxification and mostly rebuilding of the organs and glands is the best way to heal.
Cleansing is not recommended and is contra-indicated in Healing the Liver and mood swings.
